Not long ago, rapper Sarkodie literally set all his social media handles ablaze when he shared a photo of himself puffing the smoke of tobacco as if tomorrow would never come.
Following that, many of his fans expressed their reservations over the photo as some vowed to unfollow Sarkodie because he has betrayed the trust, they have reposed in him since time immemorial.

Consequently, a number of civil society organisations (CSOs) condemned the cigar-smoking pictures of Sarkodie.
They said in a communiqué, “We are very disappointed in Sarkodie for circulating pictures of himself smoking a cigar on social media without considering the negative influence this singular act stands to have on the public, especially the youth, most of whom consider him as their role model.”
And it seems not only the CSOs who are pissed off with Sarkodie’s habit following social media commentary. Some of the fans expressd worry and now, Ruthy of Nhyira FM has condemned Sarkodie accordingly!
In thre studio of Nhyira Fm on the “Entertainment Power” show, Ruthy stated categorically that what Sarkodie did was uncalled for, therefore, he should follow the CSOs directive and apologise to the general public.
She added that considering Sarkodie’s popularity and influence, he should refrain himself from doing something bad (smoking cigar in public) in public as most of the youths especially his followers would imitate.
