During last night’s edition of the United aired on United tab with Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown, Teacher Kwadwo expressed his displeasure in how teachers are being treated with regards to their duties and the problems they face in some rural communities in Ghana.
According to Teacher Kwadwo who seems to have lost his cool stated that the Ghana Education Service(GES) has complicated the system, making it seem that being posted to rural communities as a teacher is a form of punishment.
He said that the directorates of education in rural communities have infringed upon the rights of some teachers making it impossible for them to voice out their sentiments on sensitive issues concerning their jobs as teachers.
He also lamented that the writing of lesson notes has been made in a form of punishments since the leaders in the sector do not want to adapt to the modern way of doing such where a teacher can present his or her lesson notes on a soft copy.
He also alleged that village schools have been reserved for teachers who come to challenge the authorities of the leaders in the education service.
He has therefore called out all teachers who have been victims of such predicaments to come out with all the evidences they have against such treatments for something to be done about them as soon as possible.
