Damian Smith also known as Shaka Zulu is the winner of the Champion of Champions edition of Ghana’s Strongest.
Shaka Zulu was crowned champion of champions today held at the Eli Beach Resort at Keta in the Volta Region after beating competition from Prosper Dakora, Ahmed Boakye and Bright Appiah.
After winning the completion in 2017 and 2018 respectively, Shaka Zulu’s win today makes him the most successful athlete in the history of the completion. Shaka Zulu is indeed Ghana’s Strongest person.
Damian returned home for the tenth season of TV3’s popular competition after his employer in America granted his request for a long-term break.
Despite the fact that the final events were gruelling, Shaka Zulu emerged victoriously. To win, he dominated key events such as the Truck Head Pull (weight 46,000kg), Giant Tyre Flip, and Keg Toss.
Ahmed Boakye, the defending champion, finished third, with Prosper Dakora and Bright Appiah, aka SWAT, coming in second and fourth, respectively.
Shaka Zulu was awarded a large sum of money as well as a brand new car, and he will be in South Africa to compete in the prestigious Arnold Classics Africa.
