At the Ghana Football Awards on Saturday, Black Stars captain Andre Ayew was named men’s footballer of the year.
Mohammed Kudus of Ajax and Gladson Awako of Great Olympics competed against the former Swansea forward.
On Saturday, July 3, 2021, the Ghana Football Awards held their third edition at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
Ibrahim Salifu and Samuel Boadu were named home-based player of the year and coach of the year, respectively, for Hearts of Oak. In addition, the Phobians were named team of the year.
Fatawu Issahaku won the Odartey Lamptey Future Star Award, beating Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana to the top spot.
