Ghanaian entertainment critic, Kwesi Ernest has sent out some words to people who have a problem with Diana Hamilton being adjudged the Artiste of the Year.
The entertainment commentator made this known in a recent submission he made on Hitz FM on Andy Dosty’s DayBreak Hitz program.
In his submission, he said;
“Anybody who is not satisfied with Diana Hamilton winning Artiste of the Year can come and take Vitamin C from my car and drink.
For your information, the Artiste of the Year plaque is with Diana Hamilton in her house. If you think KiDi was the winner, go and buy a plaque at Mallam Atta market and present it to him.
We didn’t do Ghana Awards because of 3 Awards. Ghana Awards is 22 years old. 3 Awards is barely 5 years. Where’s the rivalry between them? Let’s not do that.
The rivalry we are creating for Ghana Awards and 3 Awards is not healthy for the latter.
Artiste of the Year has something to do with your branding, stage performance, influence. Diana Hamilton organized her own shows in Ghana and in London – sold out shows.
And this reminds me: The time allocated for Diana Hamilton and Joe Mettle to share on stage was unfair. Someone from home may be judging the winner of the Artiste of the Year by the performances on the night.
I appreciate KiDi a lot. I applauded him for his performance at the VGMA.”
