Fameye stated some good songs in the country including most of his songs really struggle to get airplay on radio and even in the clubs and pubs because of the kind of message these songs carries compared to the other songs.

Speaking with radio goddess Ohemaa Woyeje on Accra based Angel FM on the ‘Y’adwuma Nie’ show this morning, Fameye started most songs in this country don’t carry meaningful messages that stand to encourage or motivate the people but these are the songs that get the airplay.

He stated that he doesn’t understand the concept of doing music just to trend on social media and gets airplay or radios and pubs without carrying any meaningful message to impact on the lives of the general public.

He advised the people should start to enjoy good songs like musicians from himself and stop just following what he terms as ‘noise’ songs in the system.

Fameye revealed that his much anticipated album, ‘Songs of Peter’ which will feature the legendary Hiplife rapper Okomfo Kwadee will hit the media space very soon. He added that all the songs on the are never heard before songs.

The ‘Nothing I Get’ hit maker is currently promoting his hit single ‘Praise’ which is enjoying massive airplay across the country.
