In a video she posted on her Instagram page, Afia Schwar revealed that she has stopped going to church because the road leading to her church is very bad yet the leaders of the church have no intentions to do anything about it.
While registering her frustrations on the recently leaked tape that had the Overseer of the Lighthouse Chapel International, Dag-Heward Mills insulting the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu, Afia Schwarzenegger has disagreed with the government’s refusal to collect taxes from churches in Ghana.
According to her, there are so many churches in Ghana with huge numbers yet, its leaders have refused to contribute to society and only fight for their own selfish gains.
Afia Schwarzenegger revealed that she was a member of Winners Chapel International and every single time, members give huge offerings to the church yet the road leading to the church is in a very bad condition, thus her reason for refusing to attend church service.
However, she urged the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II to enact laws to make churches situated in the Ashanti Region develop the region with developmental projects or close down their churches.
It seems Afia Schwarzenegger seems not to fathom why churches need to operate and collect huge offerings from members yet refuse to contribute to the growth of society.
