“I Will Be A Legend Like Daddy Lumba”

Lynx Entertainment signed artiste, Eugene Kwame Marfo, well known as Kuami Eugene has said that before he retires from music, he wants to be a legend like Daddy Lumba.

According to Kuami Eugene, he won’t be doing music forever but will want to leave a legacy before quiting music. Kuami Eugene stated that his retirment in the music industry would happen around next two or three decades.

Speaking to Joy Prime’s KMJ during the Vodafone Ghana Award’s experience concert, the “Dollar on you” singer said he would like to quit music after 20 or 30 years from now so that he care take of his family.

He also stated that his buzz might go low sometimes but there will never be another artist who will top the music charts like he has done since his career took off. “In some years to come, I will grow and have a family and will be taking care of my family”.

“I will feel good because I will be a legend…I’m still the Rockstar. I mean Ghana will never get another Kuami Eugene like how there’s no Daddy Lumba, Dda KD, Amakye Dede, and Kojo Antwi” he added.

“However, there will be another person who is super gifted but cannot bear the same name as me…even after 20 to 30 years if I’m not singing anymore it will be my choice”.
