Legendary highlife artist Kwabena Kwabena has revealed how his fellow colleagues in the music industry disappointed him during his album project.
In an interview on Joy Prime, Kwabena Kwabena told the host, Ibrahim Ben-Bako that he sent out series of invitations and also did follow-ups personally but four of the five artists he invited did not respond to his request so he decided to close the album.

According to Kwabena Kwabena, he sent the songs to these five artists and also spoke to their various managers but unfortunately, the only one who responded to his call was songstress Efya.
“It is very unfortunate. I sent the song to them, I placed personal phone calls to them and I followed up. It gets to a point where these artists are making me talk to their managers when I have spoken to them personally.”
“It is unfortunate because I have 13 tracks and I couldn’t have done it all as a solo artist so I invite five people just one person showed up, Efya. It’s been like six months, so I had to close the album and leave them out.”

Kwabena Kwabena has advised his fellow artists to learn the spirit of humility and also have respect. He has also disclosed that he will be releasing the date for his album soon.
