One of the female contestants of TV3 Date Rush, Ryth has finally broken her silence after a male contestant Sammy humiliated her on live television.
It would be recalled that in one of the episodes, Sammy one of the male contestants who came on stage to look for love called Ruth an ‘old woman’. Out of the 10 female contestants, the 22-year old nurse and other lady were the only ladies who had their rushes on. She however kept her Rush on after the other lady Bibi turned hers off.

However, the outcome between Ruth and Sammy turned out bad. Sammy who rejected to take Ruth as his date disclosed that he didn’t want Ruth because she looked old than he is and could be confused for his mother if they ever get the chance to go out. This comment from Sammy caused a lot of stir on social media.
In an interview with TV, Ruth described the atmosphere on the night as the most embarrassing moment of her life. She disclosed that it was the worst day of her life.
Ruth told that she left her rush on because she developed some sympathy and likeness for Sammy after he spoke about his past breakup but not necessarily because she fell for him.

Sammy on the other hand has apologized to Ruth for likening her to an old woman. He disclosed that he got confused by the makeup and the stage light.
