Abdul was said to have died as a result of his recklessness, an eyewitness stated. The cause of death has not been confirmed yet but eyewitnesses and residents of the Oyonbo residential community blamed Abdul for causing his death.

On the Mamfe to Mamfe Akuapem is a small narrow road and because of the tightness, cars and drivers usually use the road with care. The drivers who are supposed to be reckless, are not but the riders of the motorcycles, are the ones always exhibiting recklessness when they are about to navigate the curve which connects Mamfe to Mamfe Akuapem.

The Mamfe Akuapem junction is like a curve that connects to the Mamfe and Akropong main road, and because of its curve nature, riders always want to be stylish when navigation the curve. Instead of slowing down at the curve, they rather gas up and just as seen in motor races, they exhibit the same style in navigating the curve from the Mamfe – Akropong main road to the Mamfe Akuapem.

It was with this same style, Abdul was trying to do when he lost control of the motorcycle on the road, Pokuaa Sefa, an eyewitness said after the accident. Abdul was said to have lowered his left-hand side of the motorcycle at high speed to navigate the curve from Mamfe main road onto Mamfe Akuapem road when the motorcycle skidded and crashed.

Abdul without a helmet, had his head crashing the road before his main body followed. His head could been seen fairly open with his inner membrane showing from his skull.

Police are on the scene of the accident helping with traffic while the body is been prepared for burial. Abdul due to his Islamic background will be buried today in regards to Islamic practices. The family denied speaking on the issue, but from what has been gathered so far, Abdul will be taken to the cemetery today for burial after the police are through with their works.
