The founder and CEO of Loud Silence Media, Kevin Taylor has just made a statement about the Electricity Company of Ghana that seems shocking. According to Kevin Taylor, the Electricity company of Ghana owes an amount of eight hundred million cedis to the Ghana Revenue Authority.

He made this allegation on his facebook page.

“While the ECG is shutting down TOR over failure to pay their Bills, the ECG is also owing GRA 800 million cedis” he said.

Kevin Taylor believes that, the electricity company of Ghana is very hard and strict in collecting it debts from people but they seem to even owe more than their debtors.

This comes after the Electricity Company of Ghana are on the verge of shutting down Tema Oil Refinery. The Oil business owes about twenty seven(27) million cedis to the Electricity Company of Ghana. However the Oil business is yet to agree with ECG to pay ¢500,000 of their debt to ECG each month.

Kevin Taylor believes that, ECG also owes ¢800 million to Ghana Revenue Authority.

Below the full post he made on his Facebook Page.
