A 32-year-old fridge and air conditioner technician, identified as Toheeb Akanji, was arrested for allegedly stabbing Damilare Oladipupo, a 42-year-old man, to death.

According to DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state public relations officer, he said the suspect was arrested following the calls he received from one Oluomo. He also went on to say that the victim, Oladipupo, came to the hotel in Adiyan Gasline, in the Ifo Local Government Area of the state, to celebrate with the hotel owner, and was stabbed to death by an unknown person.
DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said it was discovered that the victim had been led out of the hotel and stabbed many times in the chest, hand, and face. Oladipupo also said that he wrestled with his attacker, prompting him to seize the suspect’s cardigan as well as the knife he used to stab him.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and was confirmed dead by the doctor.
