Shatta Wale has been trending in the news for the past 24 hours and counting after he dissed Nigerians during his Freedomwave Concert.
The African Dancehall King who sounded very angry and frustrated over the fact that Nigerian entertainment industry players have ganged up to sabotage Ghanaian musicians used the “F” word whiles addressing his worry over why our songs don’t top charts in Nigeria.
According to Shatta Wale, Nigerians and their musicians are very ungrateful because Ghanaians have been supporting their craft since Adam but they have failed to reciprocate the same love and support.
As if going Archie Bonkers during the Freedom Wave Concert wasn’t enough, Shatta Wale has been ranting on Twitter and cussing out Nigerian DJs for not playing Ghanaian songs.
In one of his controversial tweets, he went raw on Nigerian DJs for not playing Stonebwoy’s songs although he has been there severally to promote his songs.
A fan of Stonebwoy who strongly believes Shatta Wale’s attack on Nigerians is needless and pointless has taken a deep swipe at the dancehall maestro over his baseless sentiments.
According to this Twitter user with the handle name @Nycewizy, Stonebwoy will never behave stupidly like Shatta Wale.
He also gave examples as to how some Nigerian musicians have helped Ghanaians artists in one way or the other.
