A lady called Linda narrates her story about how doctors left gauze in her stomach after surgery at Nsawam hospital. She said that on the 2nd September 2020 she went to Nsawam Government Hospital to deliver her baby. She delivered through surgery but after three weeks she started having complications. She started experiencing pains and burning sensations in her stomach, she was rushed to the hospital again.
The woman was later transferred to 37 Millitary Hospital. Linda was admitted at that hospital for four days and was discharged. But the stomach pains became even worse after two weeks. She went to hospital continuously for check ups but still it kept getting worse every day. She went for a scan and x-rays and even prayed but it got to a time that she couldn’t ease herself. Linda has repented and has become a true Christian, she continued praying to God to heal her.
She again went to the 37 Millitary Hospital and she was admitted. Linda tried to visit the wash room and finally she felt something coming out of her stomach and was able to ease herself. But there was something strange about the faeces so she called the nurses who confirmed that it was a gauze. When the doctors came they saw that it was more than one gauze which was left in the stomach. She now gives thanks to God for helping her to get rid of that gauze from her stomach.
