FRSC arrested 113 traffic offenders in Bauchi State in the last one week.

Drop plan to remove petrol subsidy, Diri advises FG
The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, has advised the Federal Government to jettison move to end the subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (petrol).

Diri said the planned removal of subsidy was not the best solution to the economic hardship facing the citizens.
Speaking at the end-of-year meeting of the Bayelsa Elders Council in Yenagoa, he also implored the Federal Government to review the current uniform subsidy deductions from the Federation Account.
Verification: FG introduces digital token to replace 11-digit NIN
The Federal Government plans to introduce digital tokens comprising 16 alphabets and numbers to replace the current 11-digit National Identity Number effective January 2022, it has been learned.

As such, the Federal Government plans to make illegal and a punishable offense any company or agency found verifying the 11-digit National Identity Number.
