Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Allotey Jacobs has surprisingly praised Former President Mahama for allowing Gabby Otchere have a meeting with him. Most members and sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress have expressed anger at Mahama for allowing such a meeting to go on despite how the said Gabby Otchere, had insulted and trolled him for some years. However, Allotey Jacobs had a different view.
Speaking on Ekosiisen, Allotey Jacobs explained that although Gabby Otchere is not a politician, he still had the right to “negotiate” with the Former President since he could pass for a pseudo-politician and also had that political influence. He later dropped a bold message about Mahama.
“Although Mahama’s supporters disagree with him, Mahama has proven himself to be a good leader. Because sometimes, you have to tower above your supporters and ensure that the interest of the country should be paramount”, he said.
