Area boys tie up robber and beat him mercilessly: Ghana police called to intervene

A Christmas robber who decided to take this festive season to a whole new level has met the wrath of angry and hungry area boys who did justice to him by giving him some strong lashes.

The madina area boys arrested a young man named Abraham Nstie this afternoon after he attempted to rob a shop at Madina estate.

Robbers are still robbing when things are only getting tougher and tougher everyday. The heartless acts of these robbers is what has resulted in people sleeping on the streets and some incapacitated.

Robbers are known to inflict pain and cause suffering among individuals in an overwhelming percentage every year and this is sickening.

Earleir today, Abraham stormed a shop at madina estate junction and threatened to shoot at an old woman who was the attendant at that time.

From the victim who spoke in shivers, she had taken over from her brother’s son a few minutes when the robber barged in.

He removed a pistol from the back of a jeans she claimed she saw him wearing and pointed at her feet.

She claims she almost had a panic attack and was so scared at the time but she has always seen on the news that robbers shouldn’t be allowed to get desperate and anxious.

So she handed over cash and other items in the draws right to him. But this unlucky thief was spotted quickly by people in the area when he tried to escape.

From the witnesses, there is no way he would have survived if not for the intervention of the Ghana police at the madina zongo junction who came to intervene.

The young man is being taken care of at the hospital where he is being treated from lashes that he received after tying him up to a tree.

The madina police have taken charge of the issue and have promised the boys that the appropriate punishment will be meted out to him.
