The mother of a deceased 7-year-old girl, Demilade Fadare, has revealed details regarding the circumstances of her daughter’s demise. Demilade’s mother spoke about the incident during her recent interview on TVC News.
Narrating her ordeal, Demilade’s mother said, “I drew people’s attention to my daughter’s whereabouts by shouting and causing a scene. However, people in the area to my aid by helping me search for her. I visited Demilade’s school to search for her, but the teachers said they had not seen her as school was not in session. Demilaide often spoke about wanting to be on the television, but not in this way.”
A woman in the area is suspected to have had a hand in Demilade’s death. However, community members rebuffed rumors that the suspect was mentally unstable. The residence of the suspects was reportedly set ablaze by an angry mob in the area.
Speaking about the suspect, Demilade’s mother said, “A new cutlass and new nylon bag got found with the suspect. The suspect had a two-edged sharpened cutlass and an ATM card, yet they call her a madwoman.”
Demilade’s father claims his daughter’s neck got attacked by the assailants. He said multiple persons may have attacked his child.
