His Excellency The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has reacted to the dramatic turn and twists in the approval of the 2022 budget. Addressing the New Patriotic Party delegates at the annual NPP delegates conference, Nana Addo thanked and appreciate the efforts of the Members of Parliament in the Majority caucus for supporting the government at the legislative level.
He thanked them for helping pass the appropriation bill in Parliament last Friday. He expressed hope that the majority caucus will navigate their way so that the e-levy bill be passed in Parliament.
He later addressed the issue of which party constituted majority and minority in Parliament.
“A lot of people are making noise that there is no majority party in Ghana. The standing orders of our Parliament does not talk about majority party. It talks about majority grouping and we are that majority group in Parliament in Ghana”, Nana Addo boldly declared
