Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa made it known that Ghanaians “must unite and foil this e-robbery” in his earlier post on social media. His recent post indicates that the service fees that were initially included in the budget by the finance minister have been expunged. He said and I quote, “as we assured, the notoriously sleazy allocation of GHC 242 million for dubious e-Transaction Levy Services has been surgically expunged following our formidable resistance in parliament”.
He continued to say the deal is now quashed and there is no need to allocate it for GRA to collect it.
He made another statement which was, ” now we gird our loins for the main E-levy battle on Monday. May we be successful in cutting off the head of this poisonous snake”.
