Dreams FC have a tall order as they prepare to face joint table toppers, King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium on Monday.
The “Still Believe” Boys have shown some good performances in the ongoing season leading up to a fourth place standing on the league log. Dreams FC started the season on a jerky note, having to let go a lead to lose 3-1 against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium. Their week two was not a bad performance as they traveled all the way to the Nduom Stadium to beat Elmina Sharks 3-1. They continued into week three with a home game against new boys, Accra Lions at home. They recorded a 3-1 win over the premier league entrants.
Week four was an eventful encounter against Great Olympics. They gave away a three goal lead to draw 3-3 at the Accra Sports Stadium. They followed it up with a week five loss at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Bechem United beat them 3-1 at home. Dreams FC returnee home in week six and beat new boys, Gold Stars at the Dawu Park. They won by 2-1 to keep their top performance. They traveled to Techiman as guests of Eleven Wonders in week seven where they earned a point in a 1-1 draw at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
They followed it up with a 3-1 home win over Karela United at the Dawu Park in the eighth week. They have now collected 14 points from eight matches same as Asante Kotoko and seated 4th on the league log. They will now have a tough test against King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium on Monday. A win will take them closer to top of the table.
