3 ‘Done Deals’ ahead Of The January Transfer Window.

With the January transfer window set to be opened in two weeks, some teams are making preparations to bolster their squad while others have already finalized deals with announcements set to be made very soon. The likes of Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappe and Co. will be out of contract by June and such, they will be allowed to sign pre contracts with other clubs by January. However, few of the transfers are usually done during this period due to the ongoing football season with teams preferring to keep their players at least until the end of the current season. So, in today’s article, we shall have a look at three Done Deals.

1. Kostas Manolas [ Napoli >> Olympiacos ]

Kostas Manolas is an experienced defender that previously played for the Italian side- Napoli but due to nonplaying time, he has decided to return to his country; Greece to link up with the Greek Champions Olympiacos for a reported fee of €2m according to Sports analyst; Fabrizio Romano. He is very strong, smart, and scores crucial goals with his head. He’s got an incredible height that looks intimidating to the attackers and wins balls with his hard and brilliant tackles. He has also played for Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma and was notable for his outstanding goal against FC Barcelona that knocked them out of the UEFA Champions League.

2. Patrick Berg [ Bodø Glimt >> Lens ]Patrick Berg is a young talented midfielder that played for the Norwegian side Bodø Glimt before signing a new contract with the French side Lens that will see him stay until June 2026 according to Fabrizio Romano. The signing of the Norwegian midfielder is believed to be a good deal when you look at his achievements during his time with the Norway club. He will bring quality, flexibility, and stability to the Lens midfield. His quickness with the ball and the decisive passes executed by the midfielder will truly be a valuable asset to the French club. Although it is yet to be seen if he will be given a nod in a few days or if he will have to wait until the window officially begins.

3. Vitaliy Mykolenko [ Dynamo Kiev >> Everton ] Vitaliy Mykolenko is currently undergoing medicals ahead of a move to the English side-Everton and is believed to be a long-term deal that will see Dynamo Kiev collect a reported fee of about €23m accordiyr to Fabrizio Romano. Rafa Benitez is currently in need of a brilliant left back like Mykolenko and thus, Everton will have to part ways with Lucas Digne by January. The 22 year old is one of the highly rated left backs in Ukraine, with his blistering pace and superb crosses. He will be a great addition to the Everton team who were outstanding on Thursday against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
