Host of the Inside Politics show on Power FM, Mugaabe Salifu Maase dropped a simple message to Ghanaians concerning the budget 2022. He broke the news to his cherished listeners that the members in the Finance committee have not reached a consensus on the e-levy bill. The Parliamentary correspondent of Power FM and TV XYZ, Princess Henrietta, revealed that Cassiel Ato Forson and his colleague NDC MPs did an excellent job in resisting the e-levy bill at the committee level.
According to her, Parliament has considered on going for a break and later, discuss the e-levy bill when they resume sittings.
Reacting to that, Mugaabe Maase stated boldly that his answers had been answered. He believed this was a good news to Ghanaians. He lauded NDC MP, Helen Adjoa Ntoso for also “frustrating the process” at the committee of gender and social protection.
