The head coach of Accra Hearts Of Oak, Samuel Boadu has been finally discharged from a hospital in Elmina and has joined the team in Accra ahead of this weekend’s Ghana Premier League game.
What happened:
Samuel Boadu who was on duty for Accra Hearts Of Oak against Elmina Sharks in week eight of the Ghana Premier League according to reports collapsed in the course of the game and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Communication director of the club, Kwame Opare Addo in an exclusive interview with Kumasi based radio station, Oyerepa FM confirmed that the gaffer has been released.
With assistant coach Hamza Obeng taking over from Samuel Boadu, Hearts Of Oak went ahead to win the game by a goal to nil through a last-minute strike by substitute Gladson Awako who was making his debut for the club since joining at the start of the season.
Hearts Of Oak is currently 16th on the Premier League table with 6 points and with two games in hand.
