Matches went down in the Premier League today as teams played their Matchday seventeen fixtures. From today’s games we saw Chelsea draw with Everton at Stamford Bridge and Liverpool coming back from behind to win at Anfield.
Chelsea played a draw with Everton in today’s match. After a disappointing first half, both teams came back even better in the second half of the match. Mason Mount gave Chelsea a narrow lead in the second half after he scored from Reece James’ assist. It was a well deserved lead for Chelsea as they started well in the opening minutes of the second half. Jarrad Branthwaite scored the equalizer for the Everton just minutes after Mason Mount scored the opening goal, Anthony Gordon provided an assist for the goal.
Liverpool won Newcastle United in today’s match at Anfield. Newcastle United never took it easy on Liverpool, they took the lead in the opening minutes of the first half after Jonjo Shelvey scored a brilliant goal from outside the penalty area. Liverpool were caught off guard, Jonjo Shelvey could only take advantage of the situation. Their lead didn’t last for long as Liverpool even scored an equalizer.
Diogo Jota scored the equalizer for Liverpool in the first half, the goalkeeper reacted well to the initial shot but couldn’t keep the ball right out of the danger area. Diogo Jota scored from a loose ball to put Liverpool right back into the game. Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool the lead just minutes after Jota scored the opening goal. Trent Alexander Arnold scored in the final minutes of the match as he extended Liverpool’s lead to 3-1.
