Chelsea went up against Everton in what was a really tough and agitating match. It was a match that had to be won for Chelsea if they wanted to have any hopes of catching up with Manchester City.

The first half was most certainly intense and it didn’t lack drama. The only but was that there were no goals from both sides. It was a goalless first half.

However, at the 70th minute Mason Mount was able to score the first goal after an assist from Reece James to give Chelsea a temporary lead.

The equalizer cam from Branthwaite at the 74th minute to silence the hopes of Chelsea and to give Everton a point. It ended as a tie. Both teams went with 1 point.

Mendy, Chelsea’s goal keeper received a backlash from Chelsea fans because he keeps failing to keep clean sheets since he last met Sancho of Manchester United. That goal Sancho scored “Restored him back to default settings”. Some claim Sancho exposed him as a average goal keeper.

Despite an unimpressive performance from Mendy, Mount was able to make a record of scoring 4 goals in 4 appearances in a row. That is amazing of the young lad.
