Qatar 2022, It’s A Must Go For the Black Stars- Minority Leader Tells Parliament And Ghanaians

The Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Idrissu is indeed a sports man, a football fan and specifically a Black Stars die hard fan. The Tamale South Member of Parliament on Thursday morning made certain interesting statements in Parliament that is currently making headlines in the country at the moment.

The outspoken member of Parliament and also a ranking member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on other stakeholders in Ghanaian football such as the private institutions and individuals to help the Black Stars financially as they prepare for the 2022 AFCON and subsequently the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

He made the above statement because the government through the finance Minister always claim that, there is no money, so if the Black Stars depends on the government for sponsorship then the Black Stars will perform poorly.

Haruna Idrissu aside the above statements made it known to Ghanaians in Parliament that, with the 2022 Qatar World Cup, it’s a must go for the Black Stars. And due to this this support must be available to realize this goal.

He also praised Ghanaian youngster Fatau Issahaku for his talents and how valuable he has been as a player ever since he made it to the Black Stars squad.
