Mukakalisa Consoleo has lost some of her body parts, people told her that she will not get a man to marry fortunately she found the love of her life called Paul Havugimana. They loved each other and later got married, the couple have given birth to three children.
They met in 2006 and fell in love, it was not easy for Paul because his relationship with Consoleo was what people in their vicinity always talked about. They said that how can he fall in love with a disabled woman, the 39 years old man said a lot of people discouraged him about his relationship but did not listen to any of them.
The women in that town does not work but stays at home and does household chores, so they said his wife cannot do any of them because of her deformed hands. Paul said his own family members were not in support of the marriage. They got married and started having a family, he always advised others to respect those who are deformed.
According to Consoleo she was born with both hands but lost the limbs through an incident that happened in the town. She spent 2 years in the hospital and was later discharged, at first it was very hard for her, Consoleo lost hope but she got the courage to move on in life.
Sometimes her neighbors make her sad and she will stay indoor and cry all day, after their marriage both family members never visited them. It got to a time, the couple become fed up and they will decided to get a divorce then they remembered how they love themselves and stay together again.
