Manchester United may loose the race in wining the signature of FC Barcelona’s midfielder Frankie de Jong because of the bad weather conditions in the city.
United has been monitoring Barcelona’s midfielder for a while and would love to sign him after it was reported that FC Barcelona was putting him up for sale.
John, the 24 year old’s father has made it clear that TOP FIVE European clubs have contracted them to enquire about Frankie de Jong which includes Bayern Munich.
He added that the cold weather in Munich and Manchester is what makes his son losses interest in leaving Spain.
Xavi,FC Barcelona boss has also stated that the club’s goal is to make Frankie very happy at Barcelona which makes it clear that he will not be leaving FC Barcelona soon.
“We desperately need that type of player. He is definitely not in the shop window, rather the opposite. The idea is to make him stronger here.”
