Bahati constituency member of Parliament Hon Kimani Ngunjiri has noted that the prosecutors of the International Criminal Court (ICC) are in Kenya but they are currently working with the United Democratic Alliance party (UDA). Speculations were high among a section of Kenyans after the news of the presence in Kenya went viral. However, Kimani Ngunjiri has clarified that they are closely working with the deputy president William Ruto led UDA party.
” ICC investigators arrived in this country some days ago but we are currently working with them and they are assisting us in UDA,” Kimani Ngunjiri said. The real intentions of the Investigators is however still not known.
The ICC case has given the UDA party and DP Ruto’s diehards sleepless nights after fresh evidence was given to the court that could implicate Ruto and start his case afresh. His lawyer was accused of bribing witnesses and tempering with the evidence, which posed a threat to the judgement.
