Rigathi Gachagua is one of the top Deputy President William Ruto’s allies. He has been spending most of his time popularizing the DP especially in Mt. Kenya region and for that reason, he is well liked and loved by Ruto.
Just recently, Kenyans were left talking after Ruto personally hinted at picking Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate in 2022 general election. At that moment, some of Ruto’s supporters agreed that the move will be a good one and for real, it really rejuvenated Gachagua.
While that has been the case, today things were not good at all. That is because drama erupted in Ruto’s camp as Rigathi Gachagua was given a shocker by the latest remarks from Alice Wahome. According to reports, the Kandara Member of Parliament did not support the move to pick the Mathira Member of Parliament but instead, she urged DP Ruto to pick her as his running mate. Wahome told Ruto to consider picking a female running mate and for that reason, she claimed that she is fit enough for the job.
