It is named after a popular Nigerian politician, and it also accommodates millions of travellers annually.
4. Port Harcourt International Airport
It was built in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, in 1950. It is named after the city where it is located.
5. Akanu Ibiam International Airport
The airport is located in Enugu State. It was named after a popular medical doctor and statesman, Akanu Ibiam.
