The rate at which criminal activities keep going on has become very rampant. Some people go to the extent of stealing items that are not very costly in the market. People steal such items as fuel, livestock, cables and several others.
When thieves are caught, instant justice is normally meted out to them. They are mostly beaten or given severe punishments. Some of the punishments include weeding, dancing, made to rap and a whole lot.
These days, when thieves are caught, the punishments community members give to them get to the view of almost everyone as a result of social media. This is because, they are recorded and shared on social media platforms.
A video making rounds on social media sees two alleged thieves slap each other as the punishment given to them.
What exactly these thieves stole was not made clear but the punishment alone makes it clear that it wasn’t something very expensive. The punishment is rather meant to mould the two of them.
These thieves were made to slap each other to the extent that they were exhausted and pleaded for mercy. Onlookers also observed what was going on while some laughed as they watched.
