One issue that called for lots of debates and arguments between the two major political factions in Ghana’s Parliament was allegations that Dome Kwabenya MP, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo was impersonated during the approval of the 2022 Budget by the Majority Caucus. It seemed that tempers had cooled until recently where there is a viral video in circulation which shows NDC’s National Women’s Organizer, Mrs. Hanna Louisa Bissiw raining curses on the Gender Minister. Speaking in the local dialect (Asante Twi), one could see that Mrs. Hanna Bissiw was very serious as she chose her words against Hon. Adwoa Safo.
Several Ghanaians have reacted to the said video. While others are surprised seeing such an incident happen, others have called on the Dome Kwabenya MP to worry less if she was indeed present on the day of the budget approval. Check below for some of the reactions from Ghanaians:
