Details reveal that President Uhuru and his Tanzanian host, Hon Suluhu Hassan led a delegation for joint bilateral talks today after which they held a short press briefing at State House, Dar Es Salaam to announce what emerged from the meeting. Speaking to the press, President Uhuru has announced that Kenya and Tanzania will now be at a better point of working mutually together following the signing of 8 bilateral agreements.
This includes the removal of non-tarrif trade barriers between the two nations allowing commerce to thrive not only between Kenya and Tanzania, but also to other East Africa countries.
