Remaining days of count before the country goes for another General Elections, political temperatures across the country are day by day rising very fast. Also, political aspirants are seen to be very much refurbishing and preparing themselves early to avoid late regrets.
Tomorrow, the Friday of 10th December, 2021, it will be a very big day for the ODM leader Raila Odinga as it when the ‘Azimio La Umoja’ National Delegates Conference (NDC) shall be taking place.
Tomorrow, all eye’s shall be set at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi County where the conference shall be taking place. Several leader’s including the Heads of State’s, Powerful People and civilian’s have been invited to grace the occasion where Raila shall officially announce his Presidential bid.
However, the attendance of some leader’s to that event is currently uncertain after they jetted out of the country today for both official and personal engagements. These leader’s includes President Uhuru Kenyatta, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party Leader Dr. Alfred Mutua.
President Kenyatta today morning jetted out of the country for a 2-day State visit to Tanzania to mark the country’s 60th anniversary of Independence Day at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Kalonzo Musyoka today arrived in South Sudan for peace talks with the President of South Sudan Salva Kiir. He was welcomed to Juba by the South Sudan’s Minister for Presidential Affairs to the State House, Ambassador Barnaba Marial Benjamin.
Dr. Mutua also jetted out of the country today for Nigeria for the Gala of the Second Edition of the Africa Illustrious Awards, awards which he has been nominated. According to Mutua, the awards recognize and celebrate leading Africans in leadership, Academia, Sports, Performing arts etc.
