JUST IN: Labour and Employment Minister Thulas Nxesi has confirmed that Nedlac has recommended that mandatory vaccinations should be implemented in workplaces and access to certain venues should be allowed only to those who are vaccinated. That access to certain venues, gatherings and events particularly in the hospitality sector should be restricted to vaccinated people only. Regulations on maximum capacity of gatherings/venues/events should be simplified, provision of ventilation added and enforcement strengthened so that social distancing can be adhered to the Nedlac social partners represented in the Nedlac Rapid Response Task Team believe that the promotion of vaccines remains the most significant intervention to prevent further spread of Covid19 and lockdowns.
Nxesi is one of the most useless Ministers. And this is not talked about enough. He’s a Minister of Employment yet unemployment keeps skyrocketing every year. This useless clueless minister has been dead quiet all along now hes trying to be relevant using covid vaccines. Where is the policy he promised us last year, what has he done towards fighting unemployment in this country?
And most important thing is the constitution is in trouble, Nedlac did not consult the masses .Nedlac was suppose to have meetings in halls, to consult the community, the freedom of choice is gone, people will loose jobs, taxi industry will suffer. And also now on we need to unite regardless of our races, they took advantage and now abusing their power. Someone was captured advance and Now using us as his pay back tume. Let’s not be shaken by all this things trying to install fear in us so we can be easily manipulated. And truly speaking Nedlac is useless majority of unvaccinated people are in the rural areas and Department of health has never been there to educate people and set up vaccination sites but only in malls and not all our people go to malls.
