Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy seems to have subtly shaded Rocky Dawuni over his recent statement with regards to the criteria that qualifies one as a Grammy nominee

The dancehall artiste took to his Snapchat to drop a cryptic message that his colleague, Rocky is unhappy over his statement on who qualifies to be a Grammy nominee.
Veteran dancehall musician, Rocky Dawuni earlier indicated in an interview that there’s a difference between featuring on a nominated album and having your project being nominated.
In his words, “You have contributed to the song, but you are not a nominee. The thing is, I am not the one saying it. You should go to the Academy website and see who the nominees are.
“I think that sometimes…been featured on a record is a great achievement. It’s really great, but we have to also recognize what is… we can’t create our own rules here and be using those rules”
Well, this explanation didn’t sit down well with Stonebwoy as fans started celebrating him on the digital space for being automatically nominated since he was featured on a nominated album.
However Stonebwoy’s Snapchat post has sparked massive reactions as many think he’s throwing jabs at Rocky Dawuni over his explanation.
Stonebwoy wrote, “Chairman is so quick to remove credit on a kid! We know them oo. But we think say them change o chai them never change”
