Ghanaian contemporary Highlife musician, Eugene Kwame Marfo, affectionately known as Kuami Eugene has debunked claims made by music lovers and some sympathizers of political parties that the song “Happy Day” composed by Sarkodie is a political song.

Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut show, Kuami Eugene stated that his main reason for doing the collaboration with Sarkodie on that song was not because he wanted to get involved with politics.
According to Kuami Eugene, the song was never politically affiliated with any political party in Ghana. He said that political parties claiming ownership of the award-winning song are doing so for their own reasons and not because the rapper composed it for them.
However, he mentioned that the person in the right position to answer as to whether the song was a political song or not will be the composer, Sarkodie because to his best of knowledge, he only featured on a song, not a political song.

In other news, Mr. Godwin Nayaw Bamiah Yombu, an aspiring Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has intimated that the 2020 “Agyenkwa” Budget aims at creating more jobs for the youth and also encouraging entrepreneurship.
According to him, the leadership is dedicated to putting in place measures that would assist in addressing the country’s unemployment problem as well as current issues in hiring young graduates for the public sector.
Speaking in an interview on Kingdom FM, Mr. Godwin said, “I don’t think we can wait any longer, because the time is now on how to create an entrepreneurial state and deal with this issue once and all”, he said.
