Celebrated Kumawood actress, Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown has revealed that being part of the Kumawood Movie Industry has done her more good than harm and secured most of her endorsement deals, and made Ghanaians appreciate her.

According to the actress who disagreed with the fact that the Ghanaian English movie industry is better than the Kumawood movie industry, she has featured in a couple of English-speaking movies but her roles in Kumawood movies made her more popular.

Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo, Nana Ama Mcbrown revealed that when the movie industry was collapsing some years back, the English-speaking stars were nowhere to be found but thanks to the likes of Agya Koo, Mercy Asiedu, and herself, the movie industry was able to gain its grounds again.

She revealed that she has played several roles in numerous English-speaking movies but being part of the Kumawood movie industry earned her more fame and secured most of her endorsement deals.

After tattooing Medikal initials on his arm and also crediting his account with a huge sum of money moments after they were both released from prison after one pulled a publicity stunt and the other brandishing a gun on social media, Shatta Wale and Medikal have automatically become the best of friends and enjoy each other’s company very well.
