Ghanaian rapper, Elorm Adablah popular known as E.L has added his voice to the ongoing conversation on the E-Levy about to be imposed on Ghanaians.

He has expressed that the new E-Levy coming up is like falling from a frying pan to fire and people would have to find an alternative.
The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta presented the 2022 budget to parliament and as part of a gov’t efforts to raise revenue, they’ve resorted to introducing 1.75% on mobile money and all electronic transactions.
According to E.L scrapping the road toll for citizens to pay it in a different way is worse adding that Ghanaians are currently watching how to survive the new E-Levy.
The rapper in an interview on Cape Coast base radio station, Kastle FM reiterated that the 1.75% will drain people’s pockets hence would have to find a different alternative.
