“Put Some Respect On The Name Killbeatz”-King Promise Affirms

Award-winning Afrobeat singer, Gregory Bortey Newman, popularly known as King Promise has asked Ghanaians to eulogize his boss, Killbeatz as the greatest record producer of all time.

Killbeatz, born Joseph Kwame Addison happens to be one of the greatest sound engineers and label owners in the country. The Tema-based producer is also a member of the music group R2bees and is also the CEO of Legacy Life Entertainment, which has signed the Ghanaian musician King Promise.

With his years of dedication and hard work in the entertainment industry, Killbeatz has gained global recognition and has been appreciated by many on various platforms. He won Producer of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Awards (VGMA) in 2013, 2014, and 2018. He received production credit on a song titled “Bibia Be Ye Ye” by British singer Ed Sheeran featuring UK-based Ghanaian artiste Fuse ODG.

Well, his artist, King Promise is of the view that homage should be paid to Killbeatz as the greatest of all producers in Ghana. He averred some respect should be put on his name wherever it is being mentioned. He tagged Killbeatz as the savior, thus any other producer is just a disciple.

Taking to his Twitter, he wrote; Put some respect on the name KILLBEATZ ! Greatest of all time. Agyinkwa… the rest be disciples #Respectfully.
