According to the songstress, most people presumed her new song “Jonathan” was a Nigerian tune until they realized she has the amazing singer behind the tune. She said that most people have been following her and realized she has dropped a new song titled “Jonathan” yet they had to give Nigerians credit for her work.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with KMJ, AK Songstress revealed that most people were praising her for composing a song with Nigerian melodies but failed to acknowledge the fact that she is a talent from Ghana.

She stated that she has been sounding like Ghanaian in most of her songs for years but her countrymen refused to show her support until she dropped a sound similar to songs from Nigeria. However, she claims that her song has nothing to do with Nigeria melodies because she used the pijin language which cuts across both Ghana and Nigeria.
