Nana Aba has lamented over the 1.75% tax on every momo transaction asking the president to reconsider because it’s too high for something that is been used frequently.
Yesterday, the finance minister disclosed that government is taking off some taxes and bringing in another which is every momo transaction that is 100gh and above will attract a 1.75% tax and Nana Aba along with others think it’s too high.
Nana Aba in a recent tweet asked the president Nana Addo to reconsider that because 1.75% is too high for something that is been used frequently and even some of the telecommunications might add their own charges to the tax percentage.

Reaction from some netizens after Nana Aba called on the president to reconsider shows that most people are not pleased about it and some have decided to be sending money less than 100gh to prevent the 1.75% tax since it’s too high for them.
Paying 1.75% on every transaction you make involving 100gh and above is indeed too much as it seems the momo transaction is what almost everyone is using right now therefore we all plead with the president to reconsider just as Nana Aba said.
