Well-known entertainment journalist and pundit, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has revealed that Shatta Wale was nearly locked up again following an order given by COP Kofi Boakye after his uproar during the IGP’s meeting with the Creative arts industry.

Recall, Shatta Wale was said to have created a scene at the meeting following a confrontation by a police officer. According to reports, Shatta Wale was being questioned on why he was using his mobile phone at the auditorium, and as a result, he overreacted and was escorted out of the auditorium.
In a video that surfaced on social media, the dancehall musician was heard lamenting how he was being questioned on why he was using his phone during the meeting.
During this weekend’s United aired on UTV, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo gave a vivid narration of what happened at the meeting. According to him, COP Kofi Boakye ordered Shatta Wale to be locked up again for his misconduct at the meeting.
He said that it took the intervention of A-Plus and Socrate Safo for the COP to stop the musician from being locked up again. He said that the COP was unhappy with the musician’s behavior in front of the IGP at the meeting, thus he ordered for him to be locked up.
