Entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah Baido has disclosed that Shatta Wale’s viral photo kneeling down in front of the IGP wasn’t because he was apologizing for his misconduct.

Shatta Wale had issues with some police officers during their meeting with the IGP and after some few hours, a photo of him kneeling in front of the IGP went viral with people claiming he swallowed his pride to apologize but Arnold Asamoah says that’s not the case.

Speaking on UTV’s United , Arnold Asamoah said the main reason why Shatta Wale knelt in front of the IGP was to plead with him to allow musicians or entertainers live their lives the way they want and not to let them pretend to live another life.

According to Arnold Asamoah, Shatta Wale had already pleaded with the IGP and DCOP Kofi Boakye back doors after the issue they had and only knelt down in front of the IGP to air his displeasure about how they are been treated and also asked to be allowed to live their own lives.

Arnold Asamoah then disclosed that during the confrontation between Shatta Wale and some police officers, DCOP Kofi Boakye asked that he should be locked in a certain room but then some industry players pleaded on his behalf and he later apologized.

Therefore, the viral photo of Shatta Wale kneeling down in front of the IGP wasn’t the moment he was pleading but rather the moment he was asking that they be allowed to live their lives the way they want and not pretend to be who they are not.
