During the final funeral rites of the mother of the UK-based Ghanaian rapper, Reggi Zippy of Reggie ‘N’ Bolie fame, some top Ghanaian celebrities graced the occasion with their presence to support the musician as he bids his mother, Cecilia Koomson farewell.

Madam Cecilia Koomson’s death was reported in August 2021 after the rapper took to his social media to announce the sudden demise of his mother in a very heartbreaking post.
After the death of his mother, Reggie Zippy out of depression made a life-threatening post on social media, indicating that no one should mourn him when he is no more because he plans to spend time with his late mother.
Well, the final funeral rites of Madam Cecilia Koomson were performed over the weekend and some top Ghanaian celebrities stormed the funeral to show their support to the rapper. Gloria Sarfo, Ohemaa Woyeje, Lucky Mensah, Asamoah Gyan, George Britton among other celebrities graced the occasion with their presence.

In other news, award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has hinted at vacating the music scene to become a gym instructor.
Shatta Wale who happens to be one of the frontrunners in Ghanaians dancehall was said to have created a scene during the IGP’s meeting with the creative arts industry after he was confronted by a policeman on using his phone at the auditorium.
This comes shortly after he was reportedly arrested by the police for pulling a stunt about a shooting incident at East Legon. He was trialed and remanded into police custody for one week and was granted bail of GHc100,000.
