Contemporary Ghanaian Afro-Highlife musician, Eugene Kwame Marfo, well known as Kuami Eugene was given a warm and massive welcome after he stormed Oseikro for his Afro-Highlife EP tour in Kumasi.

Recall, the singer recently launched his Afro-Highlife EP in Accra some time ago. According to the singer, the idealogy behind the creation of the Afro-Highlife genre was because he is well known for Highlife but could not do away with the fact that he also wanted to produce Afrobeat songs, hence the creation of the Afro-Highlife genre.
During an interview with Brownberry on YFM’s morning show RyseNShyne, Kuami Eugene revealed that it will be an honor to him of other musicians, both mainstream and upcoming stars produce songs of the genre.
Well, the ‘Bunker’ hitmaker recently stormed Oseikrom for his EP tour in Kumasi and was welcomed by a massive crowd as he cruises by the roadside.

Meanwhile, award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has hinted at vacating the music scene to become a gym instructor.
Shatta Wale who happens to be one of the frontrunners in Ghanaians dancehall was said to have created a scene during the IGP’s meeting with the creative arts industry after he was confronted by a policeman on using his phone at the auditorium.
This comes shortly after he was reportedly arrested by the police for pulling a stunt about a shooting incident at East Legon. He was trialed and remanded into police custody for one week and was granted bail of GHc100,000.
