The General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, and three others have been re-arrested by the Ghana Police Service after they dropped their earlier charges.
On Tuesday, October 5, Rev Owusu-Bempah, one Mensah Ofori, and Bertie pleaded not guilty to four new charges, including Offensive Conduct Conducive to a Breach of the Peace and Threatening Death.
The earlier charges, the threat of Nana on the life of Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng alias Agradaa was dropped by the police.
Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey prayed the court discharge Owusu Bempah and his accomplices following the latest development.
He then slapped them fresh charges which caused them to be re-arrested and arraigned before another court.
Lawyer of the accused, Garry Nimako Marfo indicated to the court they were going to petition the Attorney General over the manner the prosecution is handling the case.
According to a report by EIB Network, operators of and GhOne, the legal team of Owusu Bempah is waiting for the case to be allocated to a court for the new charges to be pressed against his client.
